It's well into the season we should all be getting some extra outdoors time. Make your days count and by their conclusion any recipe is inherently greeted with the seasoning of fatigue.

If you have some left over Nilgai sausage or steak stored this easy recipe is easily stored in your cooler or ruck sack and great over open fire.

Ingredients & Preparation You'll Need

  • Half pound of Nilgai meat (1" cut into cubes, pre-tenderized for 30mins)
  • Half cup of diced onion
  • 1 teaspoon of chili powder
  • 1 minced garlic clove
  • 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds
  • 1 cup of diced carrots
  • Half cup of diced bell pepper
  • 2 cups of chopped cabbage
  • 1 8oz can of tomato sauce
  • 1 cup of flower

Multiple ingredients by the number of people you are preparing for.

How To Make

  1. In skillet, pot or pan brown meat with oil or butter.
  2. Add remaining ingredients except for tomato sauce and flower. Cook til cumin seeds are clear(ish).
  3. Add tomato sauce and flower. Add enough flower for desired thickness.
  4. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Simmer until Nilgai is tender.
